HELP LADIES: I sure hope that you can see what is happening here, on the left hand side & in the middle of the pumpkin my machine is taking very long stitches? Perhaps you can see it better in the second picture? Please excuse my finger in the picture. Any ideas on what I can or should do? How can I fix this?

I've had this happen once in a while usually it's skipping a bobbin stitch. Check your bobbin and also check your needle for burrs. Hope this helps.

thanks I have just put in a new needle & it only does this in these spots, also when I did a fsl hair barette it did the same thing? I think maybe it is only fsl designs but I am not poositive? thanks ~ Hugs Loralye~ I will try a new needle again

I wonder if changing to a new needle before the section that this happens would hep eliminate the problem.

Is this happening when your bobbin thread is low?

no it is barely through the first half of the design? There are alot of stitches & it is a new needle but I have not had this problem but once before sew I am thinking that it is my program & not the actual design. ~Thanks for the information~ Hugs Loralye

this is a point wihich is not difficult. My neddle stitches 3 oder 4 candle covers with more than 200000 stitches without any problem.
May be the bobbin is very tight or the thread doesn`t like the bobbin. There is the thread but no bobbin ... You can fix it with some stitches by hand or send me an email - i can give you the green leaf to put it to that point. Greetings Liane

Have you tried to look at the design in your MBX software to see if perhaps it is a digitizing flaw? You can move forward in your software a stitch at a time and see if it is making a large move and taking a large stitch...just thinkin'...

The easiest way is with the slow redraw...I think you can set it for one stitch at a time and there is a pause...you need to be in the "stitch view" to run the slow redraw...you can also do this using the "Jump to Start/End of Design" then select the left arrow for the start..design will be black...using the arrow keys on your keyboard press right arrow and you will see the needle position move stitch by stitch and as it stitches out the design will begin to turn back into color...the black part is the unstitched portion of the design...if you are in the stitch mode (visualizer turned off) you can see one stitch at a time very clearly...hope this helps...

Are you using poly thread?
Polyester thread has a tendency to stretch when winding bobbins at a high speed which can cause the bobbin thread to be very tight on the bobbin.
This may be the problem.
If you can slow the machine speed down when winding bobbins with polyester thread.

When this happens to me it has always been a problem with the bobbin.
