Is there anyone who has problems with his Janome MC11000 embr machine. Several times it just stock in the middle of a design and have to do lots of things to get it going on again. Janome sais not to know what to do on this problem and that it is probably not doing enough on cleaning etc.

I hope to heat if there are more problems or that I'm the only one

Just thought I'd check - have you talked to your dealer yet? They should try to help you if they are any kind of dealer. (I'm lucky there as so far my dealer seems to be a good one. )

I was told that I could only use janome bobbins and janome brand needles the blue or red. I could not use the prewound bobbins that worked for a year... They always say that it was my faullt.. I had 3 bobbin cases ready because they would not work right in the middle of a project... They wanted me to buy the 12000. I gave up and bought a babylock.. The dealer is new and they are great.. The Janome dealer did not have classes but the babylock dealer is their for me.
Sorry!

dragonflyer is ABSOLUTELY RIGHT! TAKE IT TO THEM & SEW ALL DAY LONG IF YOU HAVE TO UNTIL YOU COME TO A PROBLEM. I HAVE THIS MACHINE TOO & WITH THE HELP OF THE CUTIES I TOOK MINE BACK TOO & THEY SENT IT AWAY & NOW THE ONLY PROBLEMS I HAD WERE WITH THE MBX which is the only software that works with this machine (to digitize anything) They tried to tell me that it was because I buy most of my designs on-line & not from them. WHAT A CROCK! Well they fixed it because I pushed but not because they wanted to & YES THEY DID PAY FOR FREIGHT BOTH WAYS. I have only had mine since Feb this yr. MAKE THEM FIX IT as long as it is under waranty they HAVE TOO! I sew FSL quite often & it works fine! no matter how dense & besides you can always slow your machune down IT SHOULD NOT GET STUCK!

Samantha, do as dragonflyer and the others have said, take it back to the dealer and INSIST they watch it sew and do the problem. You paid a lot of money for that machine, it should work right. I do not have this machine, but I do have Janomes, my embroidery machine is the 300E, and I have never had trouble with it, no matter how dense the design. Sometimes the thread breaks because the design is too dense, but the machine itself is not at fault. I have made lots of FSL with it, also. That is a foolish answer from the dealer, that a design is too dense or you can't do fsl. Why buy the machine, then? If these designs are tested and sewed out by other machines, they should work on yours as well. If the problem is only with one design, or one digitizer, then I would question the quality of the design. Sometimes designs don't translate well into other formats, or the digitizer isn't a very good digitizer. But if you are having problems with many different designs from different places, it's the machine, and it needs to go back to the dealer. Don't let them get away with putting you off until the warranty expires. Tell them (I mean it, TELL, don't ASK) to fix it, or give you a new one, or give you your money back. We work too hard for our money to pay that much money for a machine that doesn't work right. Good luck, please let us know what you find out. Hugs, Marji

I've had the Janome MC11000SE for about 3 yrs. and the only problem I had was a burr on the bobbin case which caused a nest under the bobbin. After I discovered to make sure I had a little tension on the thread when threading it and make sure to listen for the faint click on the first 3 spots.

Is the machine the 11000 or the 11000SE? I bought the 11000SE and had nothing but problems with it...had to send it to Janome three times, they replaced the machine twice and finally I got a refund from my dealer...Janome said nothing wrong with the machines (then why did they replace them and have them sent back to the factory three times???) Anyway, I feel it is a software malfunction with the SE version...so did my dealer..and Janome doesn't want to admit it has a problem. My girlfriend also had same problem (we bought them at the same time from the same dealer) and she also finally got the refund. If you machine is under warranty...don't wait...act now before it is too late. What does your dealer say? I went to my dealer with my machine for the day, set it up there, and embroidered until the machine had a problem...my dealer could see first hand. That is what I would suggest you do too. My dealer is 100 miles, but worth the trip. Good Luck. I have had the Janome 8000 for 25 years and never a problem...had the 11000SE for two weeks and nothing but problems from then on with it....don't think I'll ever buy another Janome...

the dealer tells me it are the designs whitch I work with and I only chose no dense and lace designs. It is still warranty but both say it's not the machine. So I don't know what to do

edithfarminer by edithfarminer 21 Sep 2012

I do not have a Janome, but you should be able to embroider whatever design or lace surely. So as it is under warrenty. TAKE IT BACK and insist on other machine or refund.

dragonflyer by dragonflyer 21 Sep 2012

Take it back to the dealer, set up the machine at the dealer, embroider in front of him...the design shouldn't matter! Before you go, pick a dense lace design that is in the machine and test it out at home...then go to the dealer and let him see first hand your problems. MAKE HIM SEND IT BACK TO JANOME..AND HE SHOULD PAY THE FREIGHT BOTH WAYS...I know I am shouting here...but sometimes you need to shout...

So sorry to hear about your machine, dragonflyer. I love my Janomes, and my Janome dealer as well. But, they've been in business 25 years, and have been because customer service is their first priority. When I say something is wrong, Rick just believes me and checks it out. Fortunately (or unfortunately) it's usually some dumb thing I've done, not the machine. But once it was a burr on the bobbin case I couldn't even feel. He sanded it down, checked it to make sure it worked ok, and chased me out the door without even charging me a dime. I'd buy from them again in a heartbeat!!

I also have a great Jamome dealer...and I have had my Janome 8000 for 25 years and I have never had a problem with it...that's why I bought the 11000SE...unfortunately, I believe (as does my dealer) that the new 11000SE machines have a software problem and Janome doesn't want to acknowledge it nor do they know how to fix it...after three new machines..I gave up and so did my dealer...we tried for a year to get the problems resolved. Until this experience I was a die hard Janome fan...not any more...and part of it is because Janome didn't want to take responsibility for the problems they were having with the 11000SE machines.

dragonflyer by dragonflyer 22 Sep 2012

Forgot to add that my Janome dealer is also my Baby Lock dealer...and after a year of headaches with the Janome 11000SE, even my dealer gave up trying to fix them...so he refunded my money and I bought the Baby Lock Ellisomo from him....and it's the best thing that has happened...in a way I am sooo glad my 11000SE machines "crapped out" because if they hadn't I would never have had the chance to experience the Baby Lock Ellisimo...so many more features, more hoops, more specialty stitches...auto pivit, auto threading, camera for perfect embroidery placement...and more! So, actually it was a blessing in disguise!

do you have also 10 needles. I cannot pay it and in the Netherlands we don't have Babylock only Brother and that was where I had before problems with. I have a Janome MB4 and that one works great. They only say that the 110000 can not be the same. I bought it for going to fairs etc. But don't like to stand there with one with these problems

After you have spent so much money I think you should expect more interest from Janome. (Is it still under warranty?) I haven't had this problem.
