I'm not sure but I think: * Private messages are now in inbox, * embroidery is for all related to embroidery, * freebies for freebies. * Personal same as before: for personal issues like illness, birth of children/grandchildren,requests for prayers etc .* Chat for all other messages like birthdays, daily quotes etc.* Sewing: questions and answers related to sewing. * crafting: related to crafting, and * digitizing: related to digitizing designs. That's what I suppose it's mean to be. But please correct me if I'm wrong. Hugs for all:)

Personal is where your private messages from other members will be located. Change is for Chatting that doesn't have anything to do with embroidery.

Embroidery is where we place all of our embroidery related questions.
Freebies is where we put our links to free designs.
Then there are links to put just Sewing questions, other crafting questions and digitizing questions.

hope this help.

Personal seems to me the Personal from the old days. At the top I see Inbox, which is the Private from old days.. So to me Chat is something new. And so I can not make the difference what ti write in chat or personal

And embroidery and sewing: what is the difference ?

terriweistra by terriweistra 16 Sep 2012

I suppose "Embroidery" is for everything embroidery related & sewing is for sewing stuff that is not embroidery :)

I'd say sewing is more construction of articles of any type, but embroidery is something you do with your machine as an enhancement or in the hoop.
