5648So sorry about this Cindy. My G. son's wife, has a best friend who lost hers last week. he wasn't due 'till first of Nov. but she went into labor and they were unable to stop it. He was born dead and they had funeral the other day. My heart goes out to anyone who loses a child but God knows what he is doing. this particular child would have been very disabled if he had gone full term. ./Lillian

36693Cindy, I am so terribly sorry! Losing loved ones can be so difficult, but losing a baby like this before it's even born is like losing hope itself. The poor little one never even got a chance! Please be there as much as you can for your niece. I have severe depression as well, and coping with loss is difficult at best. Coping with a loss like this will surely devestate her for a while. Even for people who are well, post-partum depression is common. To be depressed in the first place, and have to go through this kind of physical and emotional pain, and end up with no baby in your arms, Dear Lord, but I can't even imagine the grief. I pray everyone can get through to some kind of peace about it, and that she won't be afraid to try for another child after some time has passed. 26714Such a horrible thing to go through. This happened to me 34 years ago. It was awful and almost destroyed my marriage. I could not deal with it at all. It took a long time for me to get over it. It was so unfair. I even hated God for a while. Stay close to them they will need you. About 6 six years ago my daughter went through the same tragedy while her husband was overseas in the USMC.
