Not sure, but if you can reformat the card it should erase everything.

Diamond you have had some interesting replies for your question. My suggestion would be to look on Ebay for a blank card. Sadly they are not cheap

There is at least one of the Vikant Ultimate box cards that is supposed to fit your box.

Oops, clicked the wrong place. For information, go to http://vikant-emb.com/
and than look at e-bay. They have a card starting at about $25 and a complete set of box and card starting at $25 also, but it does have 6days to go.
Good luck - and hope you find your own card as well.

I have a lot of cards for my old Brother machine. I also have what is called the Amazing Box. It is hooked up with my computer. I can put the card in that and send the designs to my computer... then I can transfer those designs to my rewritable card or to a usb stick which my new Brother uses.

The the PED Basic card reader/writer you can buy more blank cards. What I did when I needed another card was buy another whole set on Amazon for a great price. Then I sold just the reader on eBay for abut $80 which made the cost of just the second card really reasonable. It worked for me :-)

Did you try the brother website? Maybe they sell the blank cards. Just a suggestion. Or maybe e-bay

No, design cards cannot be erased. I have PE Design 4 AND PE Design 5..the rewritable cards from both are interchangeable..therefore, I have 2 cards. Also have a generic card I got at AllBrands 2 or 3 yrs ago..was cheap (49.95) then, but haven't seen one lately. I even tried the Magic Box card in the PE box--no luck. You may have to buy the orig PE card, and that one I've seen about $150. Good luck.

I agree with Debra (leenova) - I am sure that you cannot delete designs on a card that already has designs from the manufacturers on it. You will need to purchase a blank card. Sarah.

I save all my designs and fonts on re-writable CD's this way I can add or delete if I need to. If I need a design I just put the CD into the machine and save it on a USB stick. I had to keep my old computer as my new computer isn't compatible with my embroidery program, so this is how I send my designs to my sewing machine.
Does this help you?

I also can do that but I hate to loose something that I have had for about 17 years thanks

I bought a blank card for my machine when I bought the machine and have never taken it out of the machine. I just recently bought another blank just in case. I hope you can either find yours or are able to buy another one.

GREAT QUESTION! I do not know the answer. I do have some really old cards that I would love to get to my computer to save. Cards will soon be obsolete so we should figure a way to save their content. Kay

With my Pe design I can put almost all the designs on pre bought cards and import them to my computer. There I can copy to cd for backups, enlarge also for my big hoop.
Then using the blank card I can stitch out the edited design.
The original bought design card does not erase.
But they are nice to use as is too, they are well digitized and I have stitched many of them numerous times

The original design card does not erase and I love to use them cos they are of good digitize quality.

I have 2 blank cards. I wish you could erase one an use it over and over. They are so expensive. You should be able to order one online. I think Allbrands.com has them. Good luck!!

No, you can't erase the cards that are sold with the designs already programmed in. Tried it when I got my machine figuring on getting one cheaper, lost money instead.

I have pe design too and I bought a second blank card from my Brother dealer .
I like to keep a project that I am busy with on the one. Usually a set of baby quilt designs.
Then use the other for doing all the embroidery that crops up in'between, like test stitchouts for our digi class.
Happy Stitching! Bev.
