Best of luck to you, Vicki! Even though you only have half of what you usually take, maybe that'll be the half that people wanted--you don't usually sell it all anyway, right? Think positive thoughts, and have a very good time. Talk to people, enjoy yourself, and invite them to come see you at your next show, too. Big hugs, Marji
The best part of the show for me is the people by far!! It's the getting up at 5:30 on the weekend that's tough...LOL
Thanks Marji and everyone for the good wishes!!
I am so sorry to hear that you still have problems with your machine. I have a Bernina Artista 640 and had a little problem with the hook broken in the tensions rod. Took it to them and was fixed within a few minutes. I guess I am lucky to have such a super guy helping me out. Good luck with you show and hope that you do very well.****
Am taking a break and I have to say, you guys are the "bestest" of friends...thanks for all the support. I am taking my laptop so I can show people what kind of designs I can put on clothing when I have a machine...LOL!! That is the only thing I know to do.....
Have a fantastic show! You are your own designer and manufacturer! I am so very proud of you. Live Laugh Download Stitch!
That does happen from time to time. The best advice I've received is to stuff your booth with decorator/display items so that your booth looks full even if you don't have a lot of stock. If your booth looks a little skimpy, people think that you've sold all the "best stuff" and that everything has been "picked over." Pots of flowers or small trees, quilts, some of those big scare crows that you get at Joanns with a coupon. Any decorator items you might have handy. Actually, you should do this if you sell a lot of stuff and you end up with empty looking spaces too.
Don't be bummed! Enjoy the day!
I know what you're going through, Vicki - my machine has been in the shop for almost as long.... can you say "withdrawal?" LOL I hope you sell out of everything you take and they line up to give you orders! Hugs and *'s Deb
Vicki, Maybe you will sell a phenomenal amount of what you take, maybe enough to buy a second machine! Have a great sale! Hugs, Jan I wish I could go and buy it all up!
There is a purpose and plan for everything. So I do hope you come home with orders lots, and lots that will give your like new machine work to make you and it happy!
