A question for those living in the Brisbane,Goldcoast Queensland area- I am going to visit my daughter and her family and was wondering if you could give me the names of some good places, both sewing and otherwise to visit? Thanks ahead for any and all answers.

Would love to help but I never leave the house. lol. I think you should definitely do Southbank and if you are not afraid of heights the Brisbane wheel is fantastic at night time. Check out the beaches if you like that sort of thing, The Sunshine Coast is nice. If you want to do a theme park my favorite is Sea world, but you could go to any of them, they are all pretty good. The Glasshouse Mountains are lovely and if you head to the Bayside suburbs Wellington point and Victoria Point (where I live) are very pretty. you can get a ferry to Coochie mudlo Island from Victoria Point. I can't really say that I know of anywhere that would be exciting for embroidery or sewing, I do that shopping as more of a chore, but then I hate shopping of any sort. Ok maybe I leave the house more often than I thought.
