Hello all, just here with update on my eyes that decided to get an infection in them. Dr. said yesterday that will probably be another week before the infection will be gone. I have decided to do a little sewing anyway but can only do a little at a time before my eyes hurt start to hurting again. I ware dark sun glasses so that the brightness of the sun, tv, and computer screen brightness don't hurt them. But feel I am lucky because I still have eyes to see. I look at it this way...there is the man down the street who is blind and can't see at all, and I can still see how beautiful everything is. God Bless everyone and remember no matter how bad things get there is always someone that is worse off then you.

Joann, I'm so glad your eyes are on the mend. I too would be lost if something happened to my sight. Hugs, Judy

Thank you...I can't think of a world without seeing my great grandbabies little face or the beautiful rose outside and even that beautiful piece of material. I know it could happen to any one of us but I sure hope not.

I hope your eyes get better soon! Of anything that could happen, losing eyesight is to me the scariest thing. I've worn glasses since 3rd grade, so my vision is bad, and my glasses are $400, but at least I can still see! I had Pink Eye once in high school, I know how much that hurt, I hope your eye infection gets better soon. Hugs, Marji

I've been there and know exactly what you're going through. My eyes get an infection about every other year in each eye, so I go through this every year. But you are so right, we do have our eyesight and I can only emphasis that if you think something is wrong with your eyes, get them checked out by your eye doctor. There is no substitute for your eyesight.

Not something I would want to have again but I have had herpies in the eye and there is nothing as painful as that. That was the first thing he checked for but thank goodness it was not.
