Congratulations London,

I think this was the best Olympics opening I've ever seen! Congratulations to London, Great Britain, all those involved. What a tremendous effort on everyone's part, from the builders of the stadium to the electricians, se-up people, all those behind the scenes who made those in front look so amazingly good! And the Queen is just spectacular, what a good sport she is, the thing with James Bond was fabulous. She is one fine Lady, I admire her so much. And Rowan Atkinson (Mr. Bean, or BlackAdder as I remember him) is just too too funny. Lighting the Olympic cauldron was spectacular, and Paul McCartney, well what can I say. I am not far away at the moment. Glad you all liked it. I loved the james bond with the queen lol and is showed a bit of London, hoping you will all want to come and see it in real life one day soon lol.
It is a great city with wonderful shops, historic buildings and theatres

I got to watch the opening ceremony on tv last night. I think it was the most spectacular opening ceremony I have ever seen for the olympics. London did GREAT!!!!!

I love, love, love the Olympics and was sooooo impressed with the opening in London. It was just magnificent. I was lucky enough to actually attend the Olympic games in Atlanta and boy was it spectacular! ;)

I watched some of the reruns today on Australian TV yes Congratulations London a great job loved the lighting ceromany in perticular. and loved the joke with the Queen all Looked wonderful. Hugs Joyce

There were probably a few watching, but you mean in person! I think I remember someone saying they were going! That would be so exciting! The closest I got was the gynmastics - USA Olympics qualifying finals many years back.

Linda the opening was fantastic. Such a great show :o)

Oh Yes just a great story and the announcer said we should have smellavision
because the smoke stacks actually had a sulfur smell. The lighting of the torch
was preety cool too.

I loved the joke with the queen and 007 and also Mr. Bean at it's best :o)

Congrats to the British for hosting the Olympics this year. I will be praying that all goes well.

I wasnt there but i did stay up and watch the whole thin g from start to finish and i was so impressed with the opening ceremony i felt so proud of the whole thing it came together so well
