fantastic idea. thankyou. regards Lorraine woodcroft south australia
So glad this post has appeared, now to find a handyman! Thank you for sharing.
I bought one of these a few years back, and love it. Mine was made to fit my Singer XL6000 and wish I had one for each machine. Others are too big to really fit on it right.
Wow, this maybe an old post...so glad I stumbled across it! What a revolutionary idea!!!! Did not know something like this would work on an embroidery machine, let alone think of anything this unique. Thank you for re-sharing the idea for whatever reason.
Thanks I just saw the post. Once I looked at it a long time ago. I had my friend to make me one . I am bkd although that my old name cause someone stolid my identity I had to change my whole like almost anyway
sqdancer sent me the pattern 04 Jun 2012 my husband made it that weekin
I love it makes a lot of things easer. Thank again ablanton
I'm not sure I understand the goal of the height? Maybe you could explain the use. It looks really good. NB Canada
this is a really old post but it works kind of like a free arm sewing machine. If you want to hoop a jacket, skirt or something of that sort. Notice the space underneath.
here is what it says on one for sale on ebay
MACHINE RISERS MAKE A VERY USEFUL TOOL WHEN WORKING ON SLACKS, T-SHIRTS, PURSES AND SHIRTS. PREVENTS YOU FROM SEWING THE FRONT & BACK TOGETHER
Of course. What was I thinking? I haven't tried sleeves, or jackets yet. thank you for answering me. NB. Canada
I have sent the pattern to those that gave me emails, watch your junk mail folders if you haven't received it...also please be sure to check measurements for your different machine sizes - answers.cuteembroidery.com/1206675_goodness-sake-noticed-gone-over. html - Hugs & *4U Glenda x0x0x
Can I still get this pattern for the riser? Where do I send my email address to?
Please help me find the pattern for this riser. I have a new large single needle coming, and it would be great. Thank you.
Sorry all have been out of town square dancing and have just come back to 20 PM's asking for the pattern - will get onto finding the pattern and getting it out to each of you first of the week. Some of you haven't sent email address - Hugs all Glenda x0x0x0
I love the riser. I'm a little frustrated that my PM has gone unanswered. I do not know where to find your e-mail address. Maybe someone could help me out. Hugs & Stitches, Liz
I guess I don't do enough embroidery to warrant having one, but I'll give Ray a yell to come look at it.
He built me a surround for my machine, to use when I wanted my machine as a flat sewer in the Horn sewing cabinet, but we think he scrapped it when I was going to sell the Horn. Now I've changed my mind so he has to make another one. :-)
Every time I ask for something else he just says "add it to the list" LOL!!!
Thanks for sharing hugs, Meganne
What a great idea, I would like plans for this also. I can't find how to PM you.
Linda
This is fantastic! How did he make it sturdy enough to not vibrate off the table? I have the same machine - would he like to make and sell these????
go to the word community above new page then see the word private click on it then put her name there and send her message .I am not good at explaining but i try sorry:
):)hugs
sorry but i'm baffled how to e-mail or contact you for the plans. this is a fantastic idea you must be so proud that your friend takes an intrest in what you do and what you would like.
wow its just amazing what very creative some folks are this is I am guessing made of OAK? Thanks Glenda & you can definately add me to your list! Hugs Loralye
Great! I had no idea we could have such! Thank you, thank you, thank you!
I am fairly new to Cuties, how do I PM you (or see your profile) to get the plans? My husband and I love the idea and would like make one. What a great idea.
This is a GREAT riser and I'll be sending you a PM for the instructions, thanks for posting it!! My son said he'd make one if I found the picture.
Have had quite a few requests for the plans, hope you all enjoy the riser, it is really a great help when you are working on Totes and Tees ....
I have found the plan, anyone that would like a copy of it can email me (see my profile) and I will send you the instructions...
How do you see profile ? I don't see a link. I would like to email you for the plans. Great idea
I'd also love to have the instructions, but I can't find how to PM you. My husband needs a project other than golf! This will come in soooo handy when embroidering for our soon-to-be 12 grandkids (2 in August, 9 boys, 3 girls). Many thanks in advance.
Hope I have thanked all of you, as soon as I can find the plan, I will pass it along...*4 to each of you...have a great day..
Wow, what an excellent idea - well done to the team who thought it up and created it. You could sell them I'm sure.
Wow! what a gem of an idea. I can see how useful it would be eliminating all the bulk when stitching out a Tee. I too will be printing out a copy in hope of having the design duplicated .. but not by DH, who unfortunately has two left hands when it comes to woodwork etc. Bless him! Thanks for sharing. Flower for you.
Thanks, he is really the gem...he also just redid my kitchen cupboards in solid oak..guess I'll keep him...
Really like this idea, just called D/H in to have a GOOD look. I want one . No more bulk. :) *
Have my friend checking his workshop to see if he still has the pattern and measurements...if he can't find them I will have him draw me up something to share with any of you interested...
What a great idea would make embroidering shirts etc a lot easier.
This is too cool. Thanks for sharing the idea.
I do like this idea! I think it would elminate a TON of bulk and make sweatshirt embroidering much, MUCH easier!! I'm going to save this picture...maybe in my free time, I can make something similar! Your friend might have a little business in these.
He probably would be in his glory, he loves to work in his little hideaway...
Sorry, I don't understand.
How do you put the frame with the bag or T-shirt???
The embroidery hoop frame still goes on the machine the same way. The riser just allows the excess fabric to be under the machine out of the way. Not sure if I am explaining it right epic...Imagine the front of the T-shirt is on the hoop with the neck facing to your left the back of the tee is in the space in the rise under the embroidery section of your machine...
Fantastic! Now I have understood, it's very useful I will try to build a same as yours. Thanks
No problem with vibration damaris, the weight of the machine holds it in place...
Thanks sqdancer - now I've learnt another new thing. *4U
That looks very hand - we need to keep that in mind. Thanks for sharing.
Mais c'est génial!!! Merci beaucoup pour la trouvaille.
