TIP: I have found that when I have embroidery with skipped stitches it usually is caused by an old needle. So I have faithly decided to change my needle every 6-8 hours of use. An old dull needle can cause lots of trouble, but mostly with skipped stitching. I hope this helps.

Thanks for your tip, but mine sew for very much longer than this and I hardly/never have skipped stitches. I guess I need it to break before I do change it.
happy Stitching!

How lucky you are.

Never wait for a needle to break before you change your needle....you are probably damaging your machine...burs on the needle can cause damage to your needle plate, your shuttle and your timing.

Good idea, but don't change it, if you haven't stitched with it for 6-8 hours, you don't want to waste them, either.
