Use sunglasses or a small convex mirror to avoid people sneaking up on you while wearing headphones at work or at your pc or embroidery machine.

When in my sewing room they can't come up behind me as they'd have to come from the side, but I've got my hubby a few times!!hehe! His computer is in the bedroom and his back is to the door - sometimes I just walk in quietly and see if I can scare him, but sometimes he hears me coming - I too much fun with it to let him in on this one! hehe!
But it is a good idea.

Great Idea, I have a large window in front of my machine table. So I can see if anyone is coming up behind me. Hugs Yvonne

My sewing room has a very noisy door and I usually hear footsteps on the stairs. Thanks for the idea

Great idea..however no one can sneak up on me in my sewing room as they will probably be falling over all the stuff in the floor long before they get to me!!

HaHa!

Yep, they'd trip and fall over everything on the floor long before they got to me.

Everyone knows to stamp their feet when coming into my workroom.I've jumped out of my skin too often. Jan

Jan, that is good of them to do that. That has happened to me more than once, as well.

Good idea! I am nearly deaf, so I'm startled terribly, when someone approaches quietly, or I turn to find them looking over my shoulder.

That's a great idea! I really don't like people coming up behind me, even when I don't have headphones on!
