I received news this a.m. that my eldest sister passed away last evening. She had fallen last week and broke her hip. She was not able to have surgery due to complications. All they could do was try and keep her as ccomfortable as they were able. For her I am sure this is a blessing as she spent the last year and 1/2 of her life in a nursing home.

I am so sorry for your loss. It is hard to lose a sister... But I know you are probably right about the nursing home. Your sister is in a much better place now.

My condolences to you and your family. I empathize with you about the nursing home. I do not think I would want to be in one ever, If I can't stitch just let me go...

I'm so sorry to hear of your sister's passing. I admire you for loving her enough to be happy for her as she is no longer in pain. I know that it is difficult to loose a sibling but pray for your peace and acceptance. Hugs.
