I've got the customiser which they don't do anymore and don't use it much. I don't know if I would like digitising but wouldn't pay Janome prices. Embird seems to be the way to go. Jan

If you're already using Customizer, it wouldn't be much of a learning curve to use Janome's Digitizer Pro. I have it, got it with my machine, and love it. But is sure is expensive. I don't know if you can get such things used or not. It has a dongle, so even if it would be installed on 2 computers, only the person with the dongle could use it. It runs on XP, and you have to do computer trickery to make it work on Windows 7. There are people who have done it, but not me.

A lot of people use Embird, and seem to like it very much, and you can purchase it in modules, a little at a time. It also has a 30 day free trial to see if you like it. Somebody that has it can tell you more about it, but it's much less expensive than Digitizer Pro. I suppose it depends on why you want a digitizing program, what would work best for you for the money. Best of luck, Marji
