This is just the most fun platter I have ever seen. Thanks for sharing!
This is the most adorable food platter I have ever seen. Thanks for sharing with us. Hugs & Stitches, Liz
They are cute. Found the recipe for making them:
Cherry tomatoes and black olives make really cute lady birds. Base is made up of sliced bagettes, cream cheese, smoked salmon and flat leafed parsley. Sprinkle ground black pepper on tomato and using a toothpick dot some cream cheese on the olives for the eyes.
Black olives sounds better than capers. Looks like fish/lox? under on potatoe. What for the white eyes? And where is the cheese? I think I could do this. Perfect family reunion platter. Thank you!
Very cute!
I like to do nick nack snacks and will definately try this.
Thanks for pic and also how to do them.
Hugs Bev
Very pretty; is it parsley or celery leaves, underneath?
Cute ladybugs.
Thanks for sharing this idea! The will be a world wide sensation! I bet they actually taste really great too!
What a creative idea. I need to make that for our quilting ladies at the next luncheon. They will love it. JUST SEW CUTE.....
I bet they used poppy seeds for the black dots and sesame seeds for the white dots or eyes.
I saw this on one of the EMB websites today.
a friend sent this to me- dont think she used poppy seeds- she used black olives :)
This really looks great - too bad I'm allergic to both tomatoes and olives! Still - nice to look at!
I love this idea! So pretty and festive looking. Thanks for sharing. Susan
