It will ruffle more if after you have sew the rows shoot a blast of steam holding the iron a little above the shiring. But dont't press the shiring
This video might help you. Brothers are more complicated...
Hi Marie, I hope you have come right with Chris's suggestion. Let us know. Sarah.
Well, first of all Marie you MUST HAND WIND THE ELASTIC ONTO THE BOBBIN!!!!!!! and don't stretch it. Use regular thread on top and have the stitch length on the longest you can do. I usually do two rows and have knots on the end so that once pulled they don't come out. Good luck, love and blessings Chris
Thank you Chris- will try that- i was stretching it on the bobbin :( silly me!!
I haven't tried so can't help you... but I do have an innovis 900 (still at the repairers) so I will be keen to know what the shirring trick is.
think maybe mine may need to keep yours company at the repairers!!! lol ;)
Oh., don't wish that on yourself... this is my 3rd week without mine... I so want it back!
Take a deep breath - someone with some knowledge on what you need to be doing - will be coming along - really soon.
