here is a photo of the binding.. it is black and jumbo rick rack.. It gives it a little punch instead of just plain binding..

I've never thought of using rick rack for the binding. I might have to try that with something I'm finishing up just to experiment. Way cool!

Elanor burns has a quilt that uses the extra wide rick rack and i just love that quilt ,it sets the whole quilt off great job hugs
