OH these look great. Do you know how they are done? They look like cupcakes on the toe end & maybe cardboard with something for the heel???
No,i'm sorry i dont know how they were made- i would guess cupcake with icing piped- biscuit iced for the sole, the heel would i imagine be a chocolate wafer biscuit called 'Caprice' (that you have with ice-cream) just a guess- but a lot of time consuming work involved ;-)they certainly look spectacular don't they :)

Oh it's a shame you don't know how they are made. A biscuit for the sole would be better than card board like I said though..lol Maybe one day when I have plenty of time......
They are! Someone has more time than I do to cook and decorate! I have alot of request for my Sour Cream Pound Cake and the Red Velvet Cake that my whole family loves. I no longer do any catering but I do still get request for these two. Believe me, They look like everyone else cakes. The R.V. is a 3 layer cake and the S C Pound is made in a tube pan. I would never get the cakes done if I had to go to this length to decorate! heehee
