I ran across this and it really is me. I just had to share. :)

I am an animal rescuer.
I will save lives. I will lose lives.
I will make wise decisions. I will make mistakes.
I will be surrounded by people who understand what I do and how I feel.
I will be criticized and abandoned by those who do not understand.
I will rejoice when each homeless huggable finds a new forever family.
I will suffer through days when I cannot get those lost out of my mind ♥

Thank You and Bless You for all you do for the precious ones that really need a home. I was involved in canine rescue for many yrs. My Vet would call me to come get any and all! He and his wife were good friends of mine and they knew that I had a soft heart for a fur baby that needs help! I have had as many as 16 canine's at one time. Of course that was after I got a divorce from mt X! He hated all animals!

Wow, God Bless you for being their for our 4 legged friends. There is something to be said about a man that does not like animals, just can't think of it right now. lol

wow, that is really great, God Bless. We just lost our Quaker Parrot a little over a month ago, still cry when I think about him. He was loved very much and I keep going back and forth about getting another one. He could never be replaced.

How many animals can one household have before we are considered "hoarders?"
1 dog, 2 parrots, and 3 cats - does that qualify us? I'd love to have more cats, and some fish, a lizard ....

It's such a good feeling to be able to rescue at least one. You have rescued many and should never feel bad about that.

Sending you a hug, Sherry in hopes to help you through your sorrow today....I understand as a cat rescuer, how tough it is to not be able to save them all & to see, first hand, how cruel the human species can be. Look for the rainbow that comes after the rain!! Big hug...Vicki

Thank you. I save the big ones - horses. Been open since 2006, saved many but lost many too. Don't know why but today has been tough - can't seem to stop thinking about all our "lost souls" today. Maybe because it is so gloomy and rainy today. I just really miss them all so much today and staying on the verge of tears. ugh what a day.

good for you. I've adopted 8 at one time, my precious little kitties. My BFF was a volunteer at our local shelter for many years and is responsible for saving many many lives. Keep up the good work, you'll receive your reward at the rainbow bridge....;-)

Oh me too, but Ray says I can't have any more fur balls in our bed and I'm not allowed to climb any more ladders to rescue cats from trees either. LOL!!!!

LOL. We had a cat couple years ago, a rescue, she gave birth to 5 babies. When they were about 5 weeks old may daughter and me got a call from a construction site. Little baby that they couldn't get it. So we went out, got the baby, took it home and momma kitty took him in as though it was hers. My hubby never noticed until one night they were all running around, he counted and asked where the 6th one came from... to funny, it was like a week later when he finally noticed. So we learned we just keep quiet and wait for hubby to notice... by then it is to late. lol

Just Too funny!!!!! I love it.
Aren't animals amazing. Have you seen the photo's of the BIG cat feeding a litter of piglets? Truly awesome. They would normally be food.
