PUBLIC: Anything you want to share and have everyone see. Not private or concealed.
PERSONAL: Affecting an individual, Prayer requests, updates on illnesses, births, and things such as that.
FREEBIES: free designs whether through Cute or other websites
PRIVATE MESSAGE: When you would like to contact someone privately for whatever reason.
PROJECTS: Things you have made that you would like to share with the others on this site.
DESIGNS BY CUTES: Free Designs created by many of our talented members who are will to share them with us.
Since I never saw any rules stated anywhere on what each tab is for, I feel it is open to each persons interpretation of the words used on the tabs. Mine are literal and from the dictionary. Some like PROJECTS are very self explanatory, others are more open to your interpretation of the word used. I feel there should be a tab labeled Embroidery if it is to be Embroidery, sewing, crafts related only. Or there should be a guide on the site under a tab somewhere from the site creator for all to easily find.
I don't think it should be as big a deal as some would make it to be. I find it frustrating when someone gets their panties in a bunch over something so trivial, and feels they must belittle someone for posting in the "Wrong Place" and its just "Their Option" as to if its the right place or not in my eyes.

PUBLIC: everything/anything to do with embroidery, sewing and crafts
PERSONAL: everything/anything that isn't embroidery, sewing and crafts - that you feel you have to share with the CUTE family. Prayers, daily living, inspiration, pictures of you or family, deaths, anniversary, births and things that you feel need to be shared.
FREEBIES: anything that is about CUTE embroidery website.
PROJECTS: the projects that you have made that can inspire the CUTE family.
PRIVATE MESSAGE: everything/anything that you do not want anyone but those that you have POSTED to see or read about - this is PRIVATE between the posters.
We have way to many of the CUTE members that are staying away - but when this is mentioned they fear for saying what the really would like to say - that someone will not like it and tell them so - this isn't the place to bash another. Let us respect one and another - if you don't like what is posted - you can post to that person privately - if they respond to it or follow you lead - then that is the best for the CUTE family. If they don't - they they either become part of a problem & they voice their opinion in PUBLIC and continue to make others stay away.
Let's get back to what this site is all about: EMBROIDERY, please.

Sorry, can't agree with you on this one Shirlene.
We all live in COMMUNITIES, so are you going to kick out everyone who doesn't share your race, religion, ideas, likes and dislikes? Maybe you'll ask someone else to ask your neighbours to move so you can have a Community like that of Stepford???

There would be very few posts in Community if they all have to be craft/embroidery/sewing related.
211078well this question was here before. Sometimes it's difficult. But for me:
Personal= personal stuff like illness, prayers asked etc.so things about personal life.
Freebies= all kind of free findings of other sites in freebies. afterall we don't have to advertise this on Miss Veronika's public community. And Miss V. gave us that special tab to place them there.
So in Public: all other things we think people are interested in, or tips and questions about embroidery.
But who am I to tell how?! It's just my opnion and everybody has the right to have his own opinion. Hugs, and *** for all!

132773I say just post . If someone thinks it is the wrong place you will hear about it. I don't mind if someone asks a non-embroidery question in community or tells something better meant for personal. If I had to agonize over anything I have to say and the correct place to put I would probably never post at all. So yell at me if you must, You may feel better and maybe next time I'll get it right.

For me, if it has to do with another embroidery design website... it has to go into freebies - out of respect for Ms. Veronika. Next, if it has to do with anything other than embroidery it has to go into personals, and because we are human, there is grace... I am not surprised that I am the only brave one.
