I am new to the embroidery world. So I have a question. How do you slip the second piece of fabric under the one that has been stitched? Is it under the hoop or what? I love the little bird so I would really like to make it. Thank you for any help you can provide.

Just slip it under the hoop

This looks like angry bird's cousin - happy bird!
