I finally finished embroidering the project I didn't really want to do. They are pageant sashes for our local annual peach festival. They weren't hard, but sure took a lot of stabilizer.

There is a woman here, that makes these for the padgents/homecoming etc. I don't have a pretty Script font like this. What font is it and what size are your letters? These are really nice.

The letters are a bit over 2" high. I don't know the name of the font --sadly, all I can tell you is that it is #93 on my pe design.

Great job! Are they done on ribbon or fabric? The font is beautiful also.

thank you. I wanted ribbon, but there wasn't any around that was 3.5 inches wide, so I had to use satin fabric.

They look excellent. Well done. With your stabilizer, did you cut it into hoop sizes or cut a bit extra and roll up the excess? You might have been able to get more use out of your stabiliser that way. Sometimes one can baste another bit over the 'hole' from the last bit that's still hooped as well. Maybe play in between major projects :)

Thanks for your ideas about stabilizer. I haven't ever cut a bit extra and rolled up the excess--I think that would save me quite a bit in the long run)

Thanks. I worried about the satin puckering, since I didn't hoop the fabric, but it didn't. What a relief!

Thanks. It took a lot of thought and measuring. Then, I forgot to put the year on and had to take them apart and fix that. Glad its over now.
