sewing question. i've made a rag doll and i need a face on her. i have some embroidery designs but i've put her together now. i have just bought an iron face has anyone used these before. if so where have you bought them from. i live in the uk so any hints where to buy them from would be very helpful

Sorry I just re read your request and I missed the part that you had it all sewn up.But if the iron on faces are simular to the ones that you use on pillowcase and then hand embroider them,then yes I have used them and they work well and don't fade. I hope this helps you. :0)

I made a rag doll last year for gd and I used a design on the face from cuties. I can't remember who made it but I am looking for it as I need it too. It was a BIG eyed girl face with big blue eyes. Maybe someone else will remember who did it. I will search dbc and let you know if I find it.

my dolls face arrived today and i'm not happy. turns out to be on a piece of t-shirt transfer paper which i have already got. could of done it myself. the money i paid could of bought me some cottons. never mind

No idea but I would embroider by hand as the doll is sewn up. Maybe Hobbycraft or similar shop might have what you want or a old fashioned craft shop of which there are still many about in the UK. Ebay would probably have faces too as most things are for sale there

i have bought one of e-bay just to see what it's like. i think i'll sew them on in future.
