I have a non-embroidery question :) I am doing the costumes for a 4th/5th grade play called "Joust" which is about King Arthur. There are 100+ kids in the chorus that the music teacher wants head wear made for. I was planning on making "henna wraps" for the girls but have no idea what to make for the boys. I'd love them to be quick and easy due to the sheer number of kids. Does anyone know an easy way to make the henna wraps and does anyone have an idea for the boys? Thanks so much :) I posted a picture of the henna wrap below...

couldn't you just add a square pc of fabric that goes over their head & then throw the top part over it without the "tail" kind of like a sheik? Or how about a tube for each boy's head?It is made out of jersey sew that it has some stretch in it! you put it over your head & it goes down to your shoulders & you pull part of it up sew that it is covering your head but not your face! I hope that this is what your looking for I guess it is kind of like a Balaclava hat. If not good luck! Hugs Loralye

That is good idea. I just found foil crowns at Oriental Trading and could do the fabric with the crown holding it in place. Or braided wire.. now you've got me thinking...
