Hi Cuties! I'm getting back to my sewing and wanted to share a recent project. Remember my niece, Isabel? She is an adopted niece, from Colombia. Isabel turns two this Saturday....and needed a shirt for the day. Aunt Kim is sending her one! Hopefully, her mom will post a picture of her wearing it....and I will share that as well!

thanks for your kind words, Cuties! I sent the shirt out today...she will get it tomorrow. I called her and told her to watch for the Postman! Digitizing this was fun...I'm hoping to do more in the near future. Aunt Kim

My sister, Jennifer (Isabels Mom) had found a shirt like this from Gymboree...however, the smallest size was a size 2, which would have been too big for Isabel, because she is such a peanut, only 21 lbs!! Sooo....Jennifer sent me a picture and said..."can you make one like this?" haha.... I actually liked my design better in the end, adding the running stitch inside the circle and of course, Isabels name! Glad you liked it!

hhmmm where did the rest go?
