As promised, here are my digitised and embroidered pictures of my dogs - left to right Beamer (pedigree Large Munsterlander), Poppy (cross-breed) and Scully (another cross-breed.) They're separate embroideries and I shall be framing them as pictures for the wall as I'm very happy with the results. They've taken a total of 10 hours to draw, digitise and embroider - now I really ought to do some housework! :-)

I have the Janome Customiser Easy Import which came with my (second-hand) machine. It's not too sophisticated so it's also not too difficult to use, which suits me fine at the moment! Once I have the drawing reduced to an outline of all the different colour blocks - that's the bit that takes the time - it's just a case of choosing colours and stitches. I'm still having problems with outlines, I don't know whether that's me or the software!

Dianne, how did you learn to digitize so well? Do you like your software? These dogs came out adorable!!! Nice job.

bravo for you, they look great, I especially like the "cross-breed" instead of mutt. You can tell they are loved and being 'mom' to 8 cats I know how they grab your heart. Cudos for a job well done.
