just hope their is someone out their who can help please.i have the brother 1034d/av overlocker machine. took it out of the box after having it for a couple of weeks thought i had read the manual through. went to use it today for the first time and i forgot to lift the rod up and the cotton snapped. now i'm trying to find on youtube how to rethread it the easy way and i'm getting very confused by the upper and lower looper don't know which is which.

Here are some projects to get you started although you should have gotten a workbook with your machine. Mine had me make samples and write down the tensions and what I used and you stick the sample in your book. Glad you got it threaded, seriously that's the hardest part! :) xXx

I just read the manual and the threading order for your machine is: upper looper - green, lower looper - blue, right needle - pink , left needle - yellow. Just follow the thread paths :)

I generally don't lift my foot unless packing away, or starting on multiple layers of fabrics. I love that you can continue to "sew" (technically it's chaining) without fabric under the foot and no tangling threads like a regular sewing machine. Should mention that I have a Bernina overlocker, but I feel your pain with rethreading and wanted to help :) xXx
