Need a digitizer for a friend who wants a badge made for some shirts and his jacket. What would be the best photo format to work from?

Friend has a logo he wants digitized and i don't digitize so I wanted to know what photo format would be best. I sent him an email with a couple sites where they offer digitizing services.

Depends a bit on the programme the digitisers uses, but jpg works best with most of them. Autodigitisng needs a true vector format.
