Hey Cuties! Has any one got a burn from an iron on fleece? Is there a way to get it out? Thanks cuties! ~Tania

is it a deep pile fleece? If it is you could probably cut the burned place out and put a exact size patch in and whip stitch. But you wouldn't be able to do that with the normal stuff. Was it a blanket or something to wear and where is the burn?

I have an old large lightweight cotton dishtowel (old timey one) that I keep on my ironing board to press anything I am not sure of! I have never had a problem since I started using this old dishtowel. It is thin but since it is cotten, it works great! You might want to find a cheap one at walmart. Target, or maybe a Dollar Store just to use as a pressing cloth. Mine have been around for at least 20 yrs but I keep them clean and HANDY! They look like an old flour sack from back in my granny's time and I am 65 but I bought them new just for this purpose. Monkey see, Monkey do....I watchd my granny so the same thing for many years.

I think you have probabably been very lucky that the iron did not go all the way through the fablric leaving you with a hole and a dirty iron to clean. rachap has given you a great idea to solve the by problem by covering it up. Hope the problem is possible to sort out

Sorry but I'd bet your fleece is polyseter and probably melted. Maybe you can do an applique over the burned area.

I do not think so... fleece should never be near an iron.... it usually melts...sorry to hear about your disaster.
