If you want to learn how to use the software there are free tutorials on the net. I particularly like the free ones at Clipartopolis. Download the free trial of Studio and look at the tutorials and try to follow their instructions in Studio - you'll learn a lot in no time at all.

That is not a beginner's tutorial, but something that might come in handy later.

Brenda, I bought the basic Embird directly from their website www.embird.com without any problems. If you want to digitize, you need the basic Embird plus Studio. I would reccomend to buy Iconizer as well which is very inexpensive. They supply instructions as well. There is Martine, known as mops here at Cute, willing to give some help. Hugs, Lidia

I agree with Lidia's post, Brenda. I love my basic Embird and its Iconizer plug-in! Do not know how I ever did machine embroidery without this software. Should I ever decide to learn to digitize, I will buy the Studio portion. Embird is the best for the price!!
