I have recently had my desk top up graded. I know that a new computer would have been a better answer but this is exactly what I was scared of happening to me. I have been told that my new upgrade will be good for a couple more years yet. I hope you get sorted soon. Sarah.

Have you tried doing a Google search of your specific problem? I haven't been on much for the past several days, so I don't know what issue you are having. But I'm sure you are not the only one. Hang in there!!

I feel bad for you but don't know how to help you.
I had no problems with Vista but I know if I go to
Windows 7 I will have problems with many programs and require patches-its very common and usually solves the problem.
I don't understand eithe

It says its their crazy time so maybe calling toll free might be better. I've
called before on my CE350 a few years ago
and got help.

You only got one part answered-but you need tech support to figure out the issue.
I hope this gets resolved soon.

There is a site called futura support. On that site is lots of information on installation. PM me if it doesn't have the info you need.

I have been wondering if you can download from your old computer, the program the machine used previously. When I changed computers, the tech. man put all programs into a folder called Old Data from old computer to new computer. Then I just copy/pasted the programs as needed.

i haven't previously used the program. it will not install properly windows closes it down.i'm not going to buy a new pc to get a £800 machine to work? i only use my pc for embroidery and surfing the net. i have my own little set up in my craft room.

have you got someone that is very good at IT stuff that you can ask? Perhaps a school teacher, who does computing? Might just be a simple solution. [with a little bit of luck]

I have the same problem with my new computer not connecting to the machine. The so called update and patch did not work and the driver will not install because 'it is not compatible' with the operating system of my new computer. Thankfully I do still have the old computer......Frustrating.........hugs Helen
