Thanks for showing the girls. They are adorable and the hats are precious! You did GOOD! These are what
memories are made of.
Your hats turned out adorable. I embroidered my faces on my hats. If anyone wants the site to get the faces it is Stitch Delight and the pattern number is SD699 Animal Faces.
Two happy granddaughters, congratulations

hi sewfrenzie, just love your hats. i have 3 granddaughters who would love the hello kitty hat. could you tell me where you got the pattern? thank you.
Thank you. The sewing pattern is Simplicity 1953. I got mine at Jo Anns for $2 on sale. The face is one I created as the cat face on the pattern isn't quite right, lol!
Adorable girls and the hats look great, too.
How adorably cute they are.

A much loved gift from grandma...for two very cute girls...
Cute granddaughters, love the hats.
How cute. What a wonderful gift.
cute girls and cute hates. Very nice work.
I just got the simplicity pattern yesterday and plan to make some.I can't see very well here, but is your "face" embroidered or is it out of fabric? Please let me know what you used. Thank you and Merry Christmas (I see you made your little girls Merry)-Toogie
I used pieces of scrap felt I had here. I used the blanket stitch to attach them to the hat. The nose is a piece of polar fleece since I didn't have any felt, lol! The exterior white is a flush soft material and I just don't trust my machine enough to embroider the face on, so I hand stiched them in place. Oh the wiskers are black yarn.
They look quite happy in their new hats!
