With sincere thanks to Lyn4 for sharing the Stitch & A Half sale with us! Here is one of my purchases, my second little gift for MIL. I am quite pleased with the way it turned out but had trouble finding a mold to block it on while it dried, so it looks sort of wonky in places. The design has 64,368 stitches and I managed to fit front & side in one 6x10 hoop & flap & base in one 4x4 hoop. The finished size is 4.5" x 2.5" x 1 1/8" and it will hold two pocket tissue packets. thanks for peeking, hugs n roses to you all, M

Thank you all for your lovely comments, I am truly humbled. I surprised MIL with her favourite scrambled eggs n maple syrup, toast n marmalade & a cuppa for breakfast & had sat the card n gifts in front of her place setting. She had nearly finished eating before she even noticed them, then when she opened them the tears started. Having only one son (who obviously doesn't do such things) I think she is really touched with these little surprises. hugs n roses to you all for your lovely compliments, M

looks great meg:-) do you stitch fsl pieces together before rinsing the wss off? I normally do it the other way round.... first washing pieces and then joining. I found the end result looks nicer and one doesn't have to worry about finding things to dry the project on ;-) flowers for you

It's really very easy to do Iris, just takes a little longer with the washing & drying time. It's very rewarding as I'm sure Shirlene will agree. hugs n roses, M
