Today I resized a design using Wilcom Trusizer from 130cm to 100cm. However it did not reduce the number of stitches and the design is too dense. I did it on a towel for a child but the design is too thick and bulky. I paid for the design but more importantly was the time and towel wasted. Any suggestions for the future will be appreciated.

I have been searching for hours and even tried Wilcom but got nowhere. I am truly grateful to you for this info as I hate to buy something and then waste my money and time, perhaps now I can try the design out again.

Katulle posted instructions regarding reducing stitches in Wilcom recently. Either here or DBC. She also had diagrams. Look back through the posts, hope you can find them. Marg

I have used truesizer and my editor and by far I like my editor, I too am self taught, I always reduce the number of stitches. truesizer I remove small stitches but my editor has an automatic stitch apply button hard to explain but I played with both and lately i turn to my editor, it is also free buy wings.

I don't have never used the Wilcom Trusizer, but do sizing in my program for my machine - I was alway told that when you highlight or block the design - that you need to hold down the control button - on the corner of the design - when it sizes it - the stitches change along with the size. I hope this helps.

I use my PE design to alter sizes of designs. I am sorry to hear that your design did not sew out as you expected. I expect that someone will be along who can give you exactly the information you need.
