Need some ideas for small gifts to make for overseas for males. I live in Australia and would like to include a few gifts for my b-in-ls in UK in the Christmas parcel.

thanks

How about one of these Caddy's from A Time to Stitch - my husband loves the one I made him - also a TV remote caddy. Or how about key fobs for key rings or embroider a Can Koozie with a guy theme on it. Men love those too!

One year I made polar fleece headbands- don't have a pattern but like skiers wear. They were quick and easy, small, lightweight to mail and requested again the next year.

How long do you make these? Do you use Velcro to fasten them? I'd love some ideas on measurements? Sounds great!
thanks, Jan

I do a small circle in the top of a micro fabric towel and then put a metal shower curtain in it so it can hang for easy reach. This works in a garage or on a golf bag. You could even put some kind of design on the towel. They are great for cleaning glasses, cell phones and things in the car. Sell the heck out of them. Well sold, I just retired - again.

What a great idea! My husband is always asking for a towel!

i've stitched some "carwash" towels on cheap hand towels for our guys, also bathmitts.

Toiletries bag, personalised shopping bag with 'blokey' things on? Personalised coasters. I made a polar fleece rug/quillow for a friend's husband and he loved it. It had a train on the pocket that the rug folds into (might be large for posting but at least would be lightweight!). Maybe hankies with Aussie wildlife on or Australia/flag?

My son just asked for a velcro closure wallet. One with the outside see-thru pocket for his driver's license. My husband loves wallets too. So that is my suggestion. If you made some, you might even want to tuck a picture or something inside.

Woolie gloves remembering last winter but I dont think that would work for FSL which was one Cuties idea. Fleece scarf with monogram on? Apron for the summer for barbecues with some embroidery. Sorry my mind is going blank and I have to prepare a talk for work tomorrow, bye

Hi there,
What about FSL - bookmarks,
ITH - tie holders
Towels , or BBQ (guest towel) with a ITH hanger.
Cotton handkerchief with there initials on it.

Hope this will help some.

Hugs Yvonne

I have embroidered hankies and sent many times but they are always useful and thankfully received.

It is very difficult to make gifts for men! I can only think of a bookmark. It will fit nicely into a Xmas card and will be useful. Good luck, hope some Cuties will come up with more ideas.
