I previously asked how to open a file in Wilcom...here is the problem I can't seem to get it to open my downloads of embroidery! any ideas that would help the computer dumby thanks Janet

I downloaded the Wilcom this afternoon and so far, I'm not impressed. My thinking was that maybe I could start contributing more to the Designs by Cuties if I had another program where I could recreate in other formats a lot easier than in the Futura program. Best I can tell, I blew 400+ megabytes of our monthly internet bandwidth for nothing.

You're not a computer dummy, you just gotta live and learn like everyone else does.

If you have already unzipped the files and it still will not open your files you may have the new version of Wilcom.

A neighbor downloaded the newest version of Wilcom and it would not open all the formats like the older version did. She was not able to use it. I have the old version and it handles numerous formats. Some that I have never even heard of. Someone told me that was a place to download the old version but I don't know where it is. Do any Cuties have a link to download the old version.

Wilcom cannot open zip files. You will need to unzip them in "my computer" first.

On one of your previous posts Marg mentioned Cindysembroidery. You can DL the tutorial for Wilcom there. Good luck.
