Actually, Miss Shirlener88, it was the former "scholar" Barbara who nominated me. I am Sadie,(awesome1) a retired wife, mother,so addicted to my sewing rm that I practically live there. Love quilting, embroidery..all sewing, crochet, knitting, & travel. I'm a good cook but hate going to the kitchen (but have to!) Have been very impressed by the cuties at this site and how they rally those who need help, advice, or a pat on the back. I am so sorry I was not around to know your mother, Miss Loretta..she sounded like a wonderful & giving soul. She is remembered daily by many, I'm sure, as Miss Veronica will be in the future.Thank you for the kind words-hugs right back.

I am so honored and humbled to be in the gracious company of Miss Loretta....to have the scholarship named for her bestowed on me. I will try to do her proud. Thank you, Miss Veronica. Is it possible that which ever person is the holder of the Ms Loretta Scolarship shares with us details of the work they create at this time and why they chose the next person. It is great to hear there has just been a change over as I had lost track of who it was anh just presumed that it maybe still happening
