Sarah I can't claim this lion. It was made by my girlfriend, but I have this photo and I will make mine as close as I can.

These toys are made from a pair of socks. In South Australia we can buy them from a discount shop called "Cheap as Chips". Not sure where you get them in other places.

I have found 3 pair in this colour. Told my friend that she is most welcome to a pair as she can't find any more around here.
15978A socklion. Saw some books on sock animals today for those single sicks we all seem to get. One of the books came complete with some pairs of socks. I love this lion he is beautiful

There was a picture of one on the cover using socks with toes so the animal had many ears. Next time I am in town I will look for the names of the books and let you know

You know I can do so many things but these frighten me same as Hardanger and Quilting. Frightened I will cut the wrong way.
