I had not done any embroidery in a while so I thought I'd try this. It was a free design from Designs by Sick a few days ago. I was pleased with the stitch out. I used felt for the front and back. I didn't use as many color changes as were in the original design. However, if I did another one I might wait until completed to trim it with scissors or pinking shears. It did very well covering the stitches around the edge. When I pulled away the tear-away stablizer it left fuzzie edges. I trimmed away some but was afraid to get too close in fear of cutting the satin edging.

It looks very oretty. I use water soluble stabiliser To stitch this sort of thing - you can removed the small remnants with a wet sponge or cotton swab - no fuzzie edges and no cut satin stitches.
