Cuties! I have had someone ask, if I had

a letter that can be place over another.
She wants a M over the left corner of a
C. I don't know if this can be done. I is for a school. Any Ideals??Thank

I sent her to a site for an quote to digitize C with
an M on the upperleft hand corner. The quote was more than she wants to pay. It was high. Her machine does not show her design on the screen. She is going to try one letter and move the material for the second. I downloaded Embird trial. And am trying to see how to use it. Thanks again.

I see you have your answers. Also, if you have Embird it's easy to do, and the 'Mask' command will remove the underlying stitches so it does not get too thick in the overlapped area.

PM me if you need more info.

I pasted all of your answer to my friend. She is going
to try them. I also gave her a site for some you will
give her a quote to digitize these letters. My machine
will over lap letter, hers does not have the screen to
see to place the letters. Thanks again

It's simple, just do the one letter then reposition your fabric just right so the second letter will overlap that corner. Hope it doesn't get too intense in that spot, other than that concern I see no problem.

First thank you for all the help. And then, I have
a Janome 350E. But this would be for someone else.
I too have over lapped letters. But I think she wants
them made together. I don't think she can purchase a
font to do this. She might be able to get someone to
digitize it for her.

Also, depending upon your software when you combine the design it may eliminate the overlapping space so it won't be too dense.

Sure you can. You can reposition the material in the hoop after you sew the first letter, or you can do it in editing software before you sew it. What kind of machine do you have, somebody that has that machine might be better able to answer the question. I have a Janome, and digitizing software, so it's not a problem for me to do it in a number of ways. Best of luck, hugs, Marji

I agree with Suedewbury. I have a Janome and I can put one letter on top of another any place I want it in the edit mode. It will then stitch out one and then the other on top or side or bottom or where ever I put the other letter....I do this with designs a lot as I have a larger hoop and I can take a design and add flowers, trees, words, birds or whatever to make it more complete. I don't know about other machines....

Can you import a design to your machine and then add another one via an edit screen? I could do this on my Janome and put the letters exactly where I want them. Does that make sense?
