There are constantly new members coming in and, not having had the opportunity to collect the fonts and other designs, I for one am very gracious to receive the old ones. I think that it is an incredibly generous thing for the operator of this site to share so many wonderful designs. Aren't the designs up by vote. I've searched through, and there are a finite number of designs, so naturally they are going to cycle through from time to time.

"We" who, Jancee? The freebies on Cute, Amazing, Cute Alphabets, etc. are decided by the number of votes a design gets. Right now the leading letter on Amazing has over 130 votes, the leading letter on Cute Alphabets has 148, and the one here has 87. As far as I can determine, when anyone asks for votes here in the Cute Community, we can usually muster about 40 votes. There is a group over at Designs by Sick that can organize a lot more votes. I have included a link to the posts in the forum over there, in case you want to read what they're voting for. But finally, and most important, the voting is open to anyone who has a computer and cares to come to the site, and that is a lot more people than ever come here. I'm sorry you're not getting the letters you want as quickly as you want them. An easy solution to that is to buy a membership, then you never miss anything. Veronika provides this website with this lovely community for free, you don't have to be a paying member to join. This site alone gives away 6 free designs every day, and her other sites give free designs as well. I'm grateful for everything offered here, and that it gives the people who can't afford anything a chance to get free designs of high quality. As a member, though, I guess I would say, why are you "looking a gift horse in the mouth"? It's not like any of us or even Veronika have control over the voting. Sorry, but I think gratitude, not complaints, is in order here. Hugs, Marji

I don't know any other groups, just that one. But if there's one, you know there's got to be more somewhere. Personally, I don't follow them, "membership has it's privileges", hee hee hee (sorry, couldn't help it), hugs, Marji

Oh, sorry, besides, although the DBS group has a lot of votes, it's still open to the whole internet, you never really know what will happen. Didn't mean to imply that DBS is in control.

The group controlling the votes is the Hunt/Chat group. They request the votes by email. The Sick group on Chit-chat doesn't have the strength anymore to push a letter through--wish they did tho--they filled in gaps in missing letters, but never held up a new alpha for 16 days. Last night within 20 minutes, the Bunny C got over 100 votes! Something strange is going on in "Cutesville" :)

Whoa! Have you any idea how your comment comes across to all of us who are grateful for just having someone who is so unselfish as to share 'any' of her beautiful designs, much less the great quantity that has been shared over the years. Some people are new to the group and others have lives and may have missed a letter or three of a particular alphabet and appreciate the opportunity to get letters they may have missed. I noticed you missed letters in the past and asked the Cuties for their help in obtaining them. Wasn't it nice to be able to do so. Some others just wait and miraculously it's as if someone read their minds and the letters show up after they had already forgotten they still needed them. I am thankful for all the hard work that goes into the designs and for the unselfishness that goes into this site.

It's nice to get some of the older alphas and I for one love some of the ones we have gotten and didn't realize others were annoyed at them being repeated (like the cute floral font - it's gorgeous). However, when others (not necessarily cuties)vote in a new alpha and don't let one finish that only has a couple letters left is wrong.
I really like the new alpha on amazing, but it would have been nice that the current on at the time was finished first and everyone would only be to glad to vote for the new one.

I agree - especially those last TWO letters.

Well then you need to blame Miss Veronica, if you're going to blame anyone, as she is the one on Amazing that changed the alpha.

We always finish all of the new alphabet. Never known it not to finish. It is when it is a repeat that it is not always finished. What i further do not understand why some block with cheating of the votes to keep a new alphabet from coming on as it is new FOR ALL, also the new cuties can enjoy it.

I think it is nice to repeat so in case you missed one the first time you will get another chance to complete your alphabet. Also, it seems that every day there are new cuties joining and I'm sure they love getting a free alphabet.
