Sorry Edith, for not answering sooner. I have used plastic canvas, cut to fit the bottom of the bag, then covered to match lining. Have also used foam board, covered the same way. Both work pretty well.

Kindasortof! I started with just a paperbag style tote, but I knew what I wanted it to look like finished. It's really very simple. *4U and everyone!
