Here is another picture of the quilt that I made for my son. He wanted a

border all around it, so here it is finally finished.

Thank you very much. The backing was added
in the hoop, just before the final satin
stitching outline. I used water soluble
vilene. You should have the assembly
instructions with the designs that you
bought, and you get step by step
instructions so you can't go wrong, good
luck with yours. *4U

Thank you Teri. You don't need lessons,
I've seen some of your work. The quilt
was all made in the hoop, and all joined together at the end with a zig-zag stitch,
very easy, but I must admit that I got
a bit bored, all the same coloured
material etc., but well worth it to see
the look on my son's face. *4U

Hey this is great, your son knows what he wants huh?
It is quite something else.... My daughter would love this one as she loves daisy's. So here is a daisy flower for you.

Thank you. Yes he does know what he wants ! He visited yesterday, so I could
put the border on the quilt, went home with my Chinese Lady picture (he said I
could easily do another one for myself)
gave me an order for a 70" circular
tablecloth, plus another picture of a
horse and dragon !! No peace for the
wicked ! *4U

Pat, it turned out beautiful and he was right - it was what it needed - I love this design set and I will have to get busy making my own - now I have seen this a couple times now. I only have one * for your work, I am sorry I can't give you more. Shirlene

Thank you so much. The border was the
easiest bit, just 60 4x4 pieces, and
joined together in 3 strips of 20. *4U

Thank you very much. It did take quite a while, mainly because I was getting bored
with the same old thing, but very worth it in the end. *4U

This is beautiful. Did you quilt it yourself? I'm very impressed with your daisy border. Must have been a lot of work. Your son is very fortunate to have such a creative Mom. Hope he appreciates it. Big flower for you!!!

Thank you very much. Yes, it was all done by little old me, every bit of it in the
hoop, and yes, my son appreciates everything that I make for him. He visited yesterday, bringing the quilt
so that I could put the border on while he was here, and spotted my Chinese Lady
in a Peony Garden that I had recently
made for myself, so guess where that
went !!! *4U
