I took this silhouette photo last night and then spent the rest of the night digitizing it. This is my first attempt at digitizing, so any suggestions and comments are welcome.

The first one is a red collar because that is what she usually wears, but my husband saw that and asked why her head was chopped with blood showing....so I changed the color of the collar to green.

Mom suggested this might be a good pocket-topper...or maybe I could adjust the image to enlarge it and put a handkerchief on her....I'll let you know how that goes....

Thanks :)

Original artwork: This is from a photo of my lab, Kiley, that I took last night. She's looking up at my husband because he has a treat in his hand :) I am not sure about the color chart, I realized too late that I could choose from pre-loaded thread options in Embird.

Embird. I downloaded the trial at first and took some of the tutorials I found online - mops pointed me in the direction of clipartopolis. I took 4 of those tutorials and found the software somewhat similar to what I used to do for a living...I was sold:)
