here's the back. notice the pocket? I used the hem of the skirt...looked like a ready-made pocket to me!

Isn't this bag a kicker! I love it! Very retro and stylish.

I should have you over for tea/coffee. I have a few old jeans/denim pants/one courdroy pants I want to tear up to do purses/bags/totes/etc. I make awesome cookies too. *4U

mmmm coffee and some cookies sound great! get ripping on those old jeans and cords! I love using the legs of old jeans to embroider on..and then using that piece somehow in a purse. I have more purses in a few different styles to post that have been made like this! Thanks!

My specialty is either gingersnap (crispy on outside, chewy on inside) or, get this, black pepper cookies. Mmmmm. I have seen a pattern somewhere for a big bag/tote that uses top part of jeans-waist band to crotch. I have the Prefect pair of pants... Don't fit any more...could be all those cookies?!?! LOL

That is a cute design! I bet it was the black pepper cookies that did you in on the jeans! lol Have you ever made potato chip cookies? Everything sounds so good right now and would go good with my coffee I'm drinking! Now...quit making cookies and start on that purse!
