I did this some time ago(had to get it back to scan it)It is 4 pieces of Balsa wood..I embroidered the sea designs on each piece...put them together and painted the background around them...I am Not an artist I just put the colours on with my fingers..then I stuck on strips of black fabric tape to cover the joins and framed it...Had to scan through the glass so it is a but fuzzy but you will get the idea..Cheers Dianne

This is gorgeous! I love it. The seashore is where my heart is but I only get there about every 5 years or so. I would never have thought of an idea like this.

Hi and Thankyou...I live about 5minutes drive from the west coast of Northland NZ so can go to the sea anytime...I love to walk along the beach in the evening and watch the stingrays come into the surf to feed..I feel honoured they let me stay and watch..Cheers Dianne
