This is my version of the freebie at Suebox. I stitched it six times on organza and instead of a bowl made a doiley. Must admit I didn't quite enjoy putting the pieces together..... I hate handstitching lol

It looks fantastic. The organza makes a lovely background, like Belgian lace. *4U

thank you, its actually not difficult since its stitched like any other fsl design. an instruction file is included with the design and I DO recommend referring to it BEFORE joining (unlike what I did-blushes blushes). flower for you

I know joanie, I had almost given it up after one piece but since I saw your bowl and you encouraged me to do go ahead I decided to do it. you had said you almost ended up with a doiley and since I had never done a doiley I thought how about this one! so thank you for the idea.... hope you don't mind me taking it,, wish I stitched it together by machine though lol.. bunch of flowers for you

anna, I like it. It is very pretty and more than likely it is how I would end up doing it as well. A flower for your work. I like your color choice, too.

This is very pretty - I was wondering what it would look like if you put six together. The hand stitiching is for the birds! Wonder if you could you could use a tack bar stitch to stitch together by machine?

thanks for the compliment. I guess one could use the machine....... only problem with me is that I learnt to embroider before I learnt most of other machine functions so I'm ashamed to say I have no idea what the tack bar stitch is (and to make it worse my machine instruction book is in german which is not my mother language despite that I live in germany)

Tack = a zig zag of any width without any length.

thanks joanie, sometimes it seems I don't know the simplest of things, I never stop learning here :)
