This is my first lace bowl. It almost turned out to be a doily because I stitched 6 pieces instead of the needed 5 (I could not opn the doc for instructions--dlonna helped w/that later, ty). It's still amazes me that this once was just part of a spool of thread and wss. Each piece is 13,861 stitches.

Joanie, very nice work - I am going to have to give this one a try - it looks very nice with the varigated thread, too. What do you have planned for all the new thread that you ordered? *4U

oh joanie it turned out so beautiful! I love the thread you used, wise choice. I'm a bit intimidated somehow I stopped after stitching only one part of this bowl, maybe I should stitch the other 4 and search the instructions how to sew them together. I'm very happy you gave it a try and had such great results. a bunch of flowers for you

Thank you. I purchased the thread from Fabricland. It is actually a serger thread, but very silky, "almost" like sulky threads. *4U
