First waiting on word about the GD who fainted last night at work and went to ER. Then everybody called to let me know. 6 different calls all telling me the same thing! Then got my DOW towels embroidered so going to crochet on top of them to make a nice set to sell. Got those nice white towels at Wal-Mart. But they're 70% polyester and a bugger to poke holes into for the crochet. I fold them in half and only do the holes one time. But had to do it all the way across on these buggers. No more on them.

I don't like that. I fold mine in half and punch holes and use them. Just always done them that way. Thought about the blanket stitch, but I'm happy with this so will keep it up. Did have one stupid woman ask how I got the hook through the double thickness of towel. Duh, I don't think it takes a rocket scientist to see the holes. And I hate it when someone asks me how I do something that I make and sell to earn money. So I told her that I sharpened a crochet hook. Hope she didn't cut her finger!

People always asking how I do the towels. I finally told them that I have the pattern for sale. It's my own work, took me 2 years to get it to where it is now and hasn't been changed in 6 years. Have pictures with the pattern and all. $500.00. One woman told me that I didn't want to sell it badly. Right, I don't want to sell it at all. Never had any takers. And I do have it done if somebody is that stupid!
