I have been busy organizing all my design files! During my organizing process, I found it very time consuming to have to open my design viewer for each design, so I have been making thumbnails...

gosh this sounds like an interesting programme but sounds a bit similar to the 4d organiser in the 4d professional pack (I'm talking husqvarna software now) can anyone tell me if they are alike or very different please? organising files is something that I don't enjoy either...... well lets just say I don't hate it as much as the unzipping and deleting unnnecessary files lol flowers for you

tmjanecek, that is a lengthy process, I hope you get the program that Ruthie suggested. Mine has it built in - I can view every design that I have - no matter where it is - on my PC or floppy - CD - DVD or external drive - just by going into it similair to the file folders in Windows. But I feel for you. Good luck - *4U

After trying it out, it took me about 2 minutes to decided to buy it (sounds impulsive, I know)... Now I am impatiently waiting for my serial number. :)

tmjanecek, that sounds like a lengthy process to view your files. I have a little program that shows me thumbnails of my designs in whatever folder they are in. I view them using Windows Explorer, just the same as viewing a graphic file such as a jpeg. If you want to try it you can download the program for a 7-day free trial, and if you like it the cost is only $20. I've added a link to take you there. Hugs and a flower for you sweetie.

Also, I can sort my desigs using this program too. And it just automatically runs and causes no problems!

I have no idea what *desigs* are, haha!!!

To do this, I used my design viewer to view the file and then used the "print screen" function. I then opened "Paint" and pasted it there and cropped it to view just the picture of the design. Then I put the design file in it's own folder and saved the cropped picture to the same folder with the name "folder" - that way I can see what the design looks like by just glancing and without having to open anything. It has made my life much easier.
